Mark Dewitt

Mark DeWitt has extensive experience in the legal field, with a particular focus on government contracts and procurement policy. Mark worked as the Chief Legal Officer at GardaWorld Federal Services from 2017 to the present. Prior to that, they served as an Associate General Counsel at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2015 to 2017. Mark also worked as an Attorney/Managing Member at Narratis PLLC from 2014 to 2015.

Before these roles, DeWitt had a long tenure at Triple Canopy as Deputy General Counsel and Vice President. During their time at Triple Canopy, they had various responsibilities such as handling government contract issues, regulatory compliance issues, litigation, and internal investigations. Mark also supervised the Contracts Department and Compliance Department for a significant period. Additionally, they had extensive dealings with Congressional offices and agencies, overseeing the Government Relations function.

Earlier in their career, DeWitt worked at K&L Gates as an Associate Attorney, specializing in Government Contracts and Procurement Policy. Mark was involved in government contract-related litigation, contract drafting and negotiation, investigations, regulatory compliance, and general counseling matters. In this role, they also provided advice on legislative issues as part of attorney/lobbyist teams.

At the start of their career, DeWitt served as an Associate Attorney at Arnold & Porter. Mark worked in the firm's Government Contracts practice group, handling various matters related to government contracts, including litigation, contract drafting and negotiation, investigations, regulatory compliance, and general counseling. Mark also worked on major litigation cases involving consumer protection, antitrust, breach of contract, and tax issues.

DeWitt is currently serving as the CLO at Ellipse Global, starting in November 2021.

Mark DeWitt has a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in International Finance from Penn State Smeal College of Business. Mark also holds a J.D. degree in Law from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Additionally, they have a B.S. degree in Finance & International Business from Penn State University.
