Steven Ernst has worked in the IT industry since 1993. Steven began their career as a Senior Consultant at Texas Instruments, where they managed and led teams in the development and implementation of client/server applications. In 1996, they joined Johnston McLamb, Inc. as a Program Manager, where they managed a portfolio of projects and implemented a business case system. In 2007, they moved to INTEGRITYOne Partners as a Managing Director, where they managed and led the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration Custom Enforcement (ICE) account and managed a Program Management Office (PMO). In 2013, they joined CGI Federal as a Director, Consulting, where they provided change management and leadership to introduce best practices, process and procedures, and program controls. In 2019, they moved to Pragmatics, Inc. as a Director - Federal Civilian, where they managed business unit operations and client relationships. In 2020, they joined REI Systems as a Senior Program Manager, and in 2021 they began working at Ellumen, Inc. as a Solution Services Manager, managing a portfolio of seven plus agile projects that support mission critical mobile and web applications.
Steven Ernst obtained a BS in Computer Science from Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 1982 to 1987. Steven then went on to receive an MBA from George Mason University - School of Business from 2002 to 2004. In 2010, they completed a KEP at Harvard Business School in Business. In addition to these formal degrees, Ernst has obtained various certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in 2007, PMP from the Project Management Institute in 2006, Introduction to Data Science from LinkedIn in 2020, Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap from LinkedIn in 2020, Lean Foundations from LinkedIn in 2020, and Project Portfolio Management Foundations from LinkedIn in 2021.
