Dorca Casseus

Dorca Casseus, NBCT, serves as the Director of Literacy at Elm Community Charter School since June 2025, bringing extensive experience in educational leadership and curriculum development. Previously, Dorca held the position of Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Hebrew Public from August 2022 to April 2025, and during an eight-year tenure at Ascend Public Charter Schools, held various roles including Director of Lower School Literacy K-4, Dean of Student Services, Reading Coach, and Reading Intervention Teacher. Early career experience includes teaching positions at Ascend Charter Schools and Achievement First, specializing in grades 1 and 5.
