David Vandermast

David Vandermast is an Associate Professor at Elon University, a position held since 2004. Prior to this academic role, David Vandermast accumulated extensive experience in the banking sector, serving as Vice President at NationsBank from 1992 to 1995, Sr. Trust Officer at Citibank from 1989 to 1992, and Administrative Assistant at Marine Midland Bank from 1987 to 1989. David Vandermast possesses a PhD in Biology with a focus on Plant Ecology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned between 1999 and 2005. Additionally, David Vandermast holds a Master of Science in Forestry, specializing in Plant Ecology, from Clemson University, completed between 1997 and 1999, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Clemson University and Ohio University, respectively.
