Ilia Zakharov has over 5 years of work experience in software engineering and development. In 2015, they began their career at Provectus, Inc as a Summer Intern. 💻Ilia then moved to KT Labs as a Ruby on Rails Developer, where they were responsible for developing new features and fixing bugs. In the same year, they joined Mechanizm as a Ruby on Rails developer, where they implemented solid communication with external APIs, worked fast and efficiently on different startups, maintained and wrote new features, wrote tests for each project, and conducted regular code reviews. In 2016, they worked at both Technokratos and Gazprombank as a Ruby developer and Ruby on Rails Developer, respectively. At Technokratos, they were responsible for implementing communication with external APIs and writing tests for each project, while at Gazprombank, they were responsible for taking a key part in developing the trading platform startup, making a high load application, analyzing the comprehensive business logic of trading platforms and processes, observing server overloads and bug fixes, and having good tests coverage. In 2018, they joined DataHen as a Web Scraping Specialist, where they were responsible for getting desired information for clients from different web sites and sending it to them in a convenient way. In 2019, they joined Sphere as a Ruby on Rails Developer, where they were responsible for building and maintaining GettUK b2b platform for one of the largest taxi providers in the UK, and working closely with the business to make smart decisions. Ilia Zakharov attended Kazan State University from 2009 to 2014 and obtained a Master's degree in Financial Mathematics. 💻Ilia then received a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp in 2016-2017.
