Oleksii Ishchenko

Oleksii Ishchenko has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and technical roles.

In 2001, they started their career as a Lead Developer, Team Leader, and Engineering Manager for various projects in the US and EU, including healthcare, real estate, and fintech.

In 2013, they joined SOFTGAMES - Mobile Entertainment Services as a Lead Developer, where they developed the gaming platform's Core and led multiple projects related to subscriptions and API integrations.

From 2015 to 2016, they co-founded and served as the CTO of Edumagics, a startup focused on educational technology.

In 2016, they co-founded Skillfolio and held the position of CTO until 2018.

From 2018 to 2021, they worked as the Head of Engineering at dentolo (part of Zurich Insurance Group), leading engineering teams and developing next-generation insurance products for dental health. Oleksii was also responsible for technical due diligence and played a key role in the company's acquisition by Zurich Insurance Group.

Starting in 2021, they joined Unzer as the Principal Architect and later became the Director of Engineering until 2023, contributing to the company's development and growth.

Since 2021, they have also been a Mentor at Mentoring Club, an online platform connecting professionals with learners during the pandemic.

Currently, they hold the position of VP of Engineering at elopage, where they are involved in building the future of selling digital products and driving innovation in entrepreneurship, particularly in the SaaS and Fintech domains.

Throughout their career, Oleksii has demonstrated strong leadership skills, sound technical expertise, and a passion for developing innovative solutions.

Oleksii Ishchenko attended Dnepropetrovsk National University from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science. From 2017 to 2019, they pursued further education at a school called Deutsch B2 TELC Prüfungsvorbereitung, specializing in German Language and Literature.
