Vasu Badarinarayana

Vasu Badarinarayana has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Vasu is currently the Head of Biology at both Eloxx Pharmaceuticals and Zikani Therapeutics, starting in October 2020.

Prior to these roles, Vasu worked at H3 Biomedicine from April 2019 to October 2020, where they served as the Associate Director of Discovery Biology. Before that, they were a Senior Research Investigator at H3 Biomedicine from October 2016 to March 2019.

Vasu also held a position as a Lead Research Investigator at Icagen in July 2016.

Vasu's experience at Sanofi includes various roles such as Lead Research Investigator from March 2015 to July 2016, Technology Leader from October 2013 to July 2016, Principal Research Investigator from February 2010 to February 2015, Senior Research Investigator II from February 2007 to January 2010, Senior Research Investigator from February 2005 to January 2007, and Senior Scientist from June 2003 to January 2005.

Before their industry career, Vasu worked as a Post Doctoral Scientist at Harvard Medical School from 1999 to 2003.

Vasu Badarinarayana completed their education in molecular biology and genomics. Vasu began their academic journey at Sulochanadevi Singhania School, although details about the specific years and degrees are unknown. Vasu then pursued a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of New Hampshire, graduating in 1999. Following this, they proceeded with a PostDoc at Harvard Medical School from 1999 to 2003, specializing in Molecular Biology and Genomics.
