Jon Reeves

Jon Reeves has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting with their current position, they are the Director of Software Engineering at Elroy Air since October 2022. Prior to this, Jon worked as an Independent Consultant from March 2020 to November 2022.

From 2018 to 2020, Jon served as the Director of Engineering at Poynt, where they focused on developing operating systems for payment processing devices.

Before that, they were the Lead Engineer, Avionics at SkyRyse from February 2017 to May 2018.

From 2015 to 2017, Jon worked as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Airware.

Jon began their career at Apple in January 2014 as a Kernel Engineer and stayed until March 2015.

Prior to that, Jon worked at Line 6 starting from May 2008 to December 2013. Jon held the position of Lead DSP Engineer and was responsible for leading teams, product development, and firmware/software engineering.

Jon's career also includes a role as a Senior Engineer, Modem Firmware at Qualcomm from January 2005 to May 2008.

Jon began their journey in the professional world as an intern in Attitude Control Systems at Boeing Satellite Systems from June 2004 to September 2004.

Jon Reeves earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Jon then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 2003 to 2005.
