Stephanie Owens Upadhyay

Stephanie Owens Upadhyay has extensive work experience in the field of education. Stephanie is currently the owner and Educational Consultant at Marigold Educational Consulting, LLC since December 2020. Prior to this, Stephanie worked as a Virtual English Language Fellow at English Language Programs, where they led three cohorts of Moroccan public school teachers through a 10-week course in Student-Centered Teaching. Stephanie also worked as the Director of Teacher Training & Academic Support at ELS Educational Services, Inc starting from October 2015. Stephanie was involved in a short-term project as an English Specialist, partnering with the US Embassy in Kyiv to deliver virtual teacher training in Ukraine. In addition, they worked at ELS Educational Services, Inc as the Founding Director - Academics and Operations from May 2014 to August 2015, and previously as the Academic Director from April 2009 to May 2014. Stephanie's career in education started as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at the Fulbright Commission from March 2008 to March 2009.

Stephanie Owens Upadhyay completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish and Sociology at Susquehanna University from 2003 to 2007. During their undergraduate studies, they participated in a Study Abroad Hispanic Studies Program at La Universidad de Granada in 2005.

Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in TESOL at Adelphi University from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Stephanie completed the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the International Training Institute in Istanbul in 2010.
