Valentin Saindon

Valentin Saindon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Valentin is currently working as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, starting from September 2021.

Before that, Valentin worked at Elsys Design as an Ingénieur informaticien software & embedded, starting from September 2019. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining a NFC module validation solution based on Xilinx modules. Valentin also performed tasks such as software architecture and design, IP maintenance, creating/maintaining Linux kernel drivers, C++ development, international user support, continuous integration system setup and maintenance, and overseeing other contractors and interns.

Prior to that, Valentin was at Demand Side Instruments (Demand Side) where they held multiple positions. Firstly, they were a Group Lead - M2M & IOT - Développeur Soft et embarqué (python, C/C++), starting from January 2017 and ending in September 2019. In this role, they managed a team of two, integrated hardware production with software and embedded solutions, participated in product roadmap preparation, and developed software and embedded solutions for smart city infrastructure.

Before that, they worked as an Ingénieur informaticien - M2M & IoT / Développement Logiciel / Intégrateur from January 2014 to January 2017. In this role, they were responsible for driving the creation of a secure lightweight M2M network protocol and development.

Valentin's earlier experience includes working at Ingéliance Technologies as an Ingénieur Développement Logiciel from August 2012 to January 2014. Valentin was also an Apprentice Ingénieur Informaticien at the same company from September 2009 to July 2012. During their apprenticeship, they contributed to projects involving finite element method calculations, 3D visualization optimization, and driver development for data files.

Additionally, Valentin had a brief internship as a Stagiaire Analyste-Développeur at Ingéliance Technologies in April 2009, where they worked on software development for aircraft structural analysis.

Lastly, they had part-time summer jobs as a Livreur de mobilier at Bureau Bibliothèque Scolaire Kayserberg in 2007, 2008, and 2009, where they worked as a furniture delivery assembler for institutions.

Valentin Saindon received their Bac Scientifique in Biologie-Ecologie from Lycée Agricole d'Yvetot in the years 2004 to 2007. Afterwards, they pursued a DUT Informatique degree in Informatique from IUT du Havre from 2007 to 2009. Valentin then continued their education at ENSICAEN, where they obtained their Ingénieur degree in Informatique with a specialization in Monétique et sécurité des Systèmes from 2009 to 2012.
