Blake Billiet

Blake Billiet has extensive experience in the venture capital and startup ecosystem. Blake currently holds the position of Sr. Manager, Business Development & Partnerships at Elucidata, where they are responsible for fostering partnerships and driving business growth. Prior to this, Blake worked at Hyperplane Venture Capital, where they held various roles including Principal, Associate, and Analyst. In these positions, they conducted research on frontier technologies, performed due diligence on prospective deals, and assisted in finance and operations-related matters. Blake has also contributed to the startup ecosystem by serving as a Judge & Mentor at MassChallenge, where they provided input on program applicants and advised participants on go-to-market strategy and financing. Additionally, they served as a Venture Coach at IDEA: Northeastern University's Venture Accelerator, guiding student entrepreneurs through the accelerator's curriculum. Blake also gained experience as a Venture Partner at Contrary Capital, where they sourced potential deals from Northeastern University. Blake started their career as an Investment Analyst Co-op at Hyperplane Venture Capital and has held internships at Founder Collective and Hercules Capital, Inc., where they gained exposure to finance and deal analysis. Blake is actively involved in the entrepreneurial community as the Co-President of the NU Entrepreneurs Club and as a Research, Events, and Administrative Intern at the New England Venture Capital Association. With a strong background in venture capital and startups, Blake brings valuable expertise to the table.

Blake Billiet attended Saint Francis High School from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a High School Diploma. Later, from 2013 to 2017, Blake pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship, with a minor in Computer Science, at Northeastern University. In 2015, Blake also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Summer School program focusing on Finance and Management.
