Parul Budhraja Khanna

Parul Budhraja Khanna has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Parul recently joined Elucidata in 2022 as part of the Strategy & Operations team in the Founders' Office. Prior to that, they worked as an Opinion/Feature Columnist for three major national newspapers in Ghana, where they wrote about various healthcare topics in a simplified and engaging manner.

Parul also served as the Director of Quality, Patient Safety & Patient Experience at Airport City Hospital & Medical Centre Limited, where they led initiatives to improve clinical outcomes and minimize patient harm. Parul played a key role in the construction of the hospital, overseeing negotiations with contractors and suppliers.

Additionally, they were the CEO of Asteri Healthcare Limited, where they designed and developed a concierge-based healthcare facility focused on holistic treatment for dialysis patients. Parul established a range of services and collaborated with a leading medical diagnostics provider in Europe.

Parul has also made contributions to healthcare awareness through radio appearances as a guest healthcare speaker and as the General Manager of the Healthcare Federation of Ghana. In these roles, they facilitated the launch of the federation, mentored and trained personnel, and networked with experts in the field.

Parul'searly work experience includes a traineeship in hospital administration and the microbiology department at Sahara Hospital, where they worked on various aspects of hospital management and infection control. Parul also worked as a project trainee at CSIR-CDRI, conducting research on Parkinson's disease.

Parul Budhraja Khanna has a diverse educational background. Parul completed their Executive Programme in Healthcare Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2021-2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Industrial Biotechnology and Enterprise from the University of Bath in 2012-2013. Parul'sundergraduate studies were at La Trobe University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology and Cell Biology from 2007-2011.

In terms of their earlier education, Parul attended City Montessori Inter College in Lucknow, India from 2004-2006, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as part of the ISC curriculum. Before that, they completed their High School education at St. Agnes' Loreto Day School in Lucknow, India from 1991-2004, following the ICSE curriculum.

In addition to their formal education, Parul also holds certifications from Alliance Francaise Accra, Ghana in 2015. Parul obtained additional certifications in Risk In Infusion Therapy And Their Management from the B. Braun Group, as well as the Global Flagship Course on Health Systems Strengthening and Sustainable Financing - The Challenge of Universal Health Coverage from the World Bank Group.
