Sue Carruthers-Diiorio

Sue Carruthers-Diiorio has over two decades of experience in various sales and leadership roles within the life sciences industry. Sue is currently the Vice President of Sales at Elucidata since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Global Head of Mid-Market Sales at Benchling, starting in May 2021. From July 2020 to May 2021, Sue held the position of Vice President, Head of Global Sales, QIAGEN Digital Insights at QIAGEN. Before that, they served as a Senior Director in different leadership roles at QIAGEN, including Bioinformatics and Discovery Informatics, from 2017 to 2020. Sue also worked as a Director at QIAGEN from 2016 to 2017.

Before joining QIAGEN, Sue held the role of Sales Executive at Ingenuity Systems, QIAGEN Silicon Valley from 2007 to 2014. Sue also worked as a Director of Major Accounts at CambridgeSoft Corporation from 2003 to 2007. Sue'scareer started with roles as an Account Manager at Scimagix from 2002 to 2003 and Accelrys from 1999 to 2002. Throughout their career, Sue has demonstrated a strong track record in sales and leadership, consistently delivering financial results and developing successful sales teams.

Sue Carruthers-Diiorio completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from Sacred Heart University from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Boston University from 1992 to 1994.
