Jason Riem

Jason Riem has a diverse work experience in the field of SCADA systems and IT support. Jason started their career as an Application Support Specialist at Tax and Accounting Software (TAASC) in 1999, where they provided software support for accounting software and worked with clients across the country.

In 2001, Jason joined ONEOK as an IT Support Technician, responsible for all PC and software support for the Energy Marketing group. Jason handled computer setup, software installation, printer maintenance, and troubleshooting between the Marketing Group and the ONEOK help desk group.

Progressing in their career at ONEOK, Jason served as a Measurement Specialist from 2003 to 2005. In this role, they set up RTU devices in various polling software, maintained data accuracy, and troubleshooted communication issues with field technicians.

From 2005 to 2007, Jason worked as a SCADA Engineer at ONEOK, where they led the SCADA support for the gas controller group. Jason'sresponsibilities included troubleshooting and setting up communication devices, RTUs, PLCs, and HMI screens.

In 2007, Jason joined eLynx Technologies as an SCADA System Engineer and Account Leader. Jason became the main SCADA support lead for customers based in the Bakken, Niobrara, and Marcellus/Utica Shale areas. Jason handled RTU, PLC, communication, reporting, trending, and account maintenance for customers ranging from thousands of well sites to a single well site.

Throughout their work experience, Jason Riem has developed strong expertise in SCADA systems, RTUs, PLCs, communication troubleshooting, and software support. Jason is also highly skilled in IT support and has a solid background in accounting and tax software.

Jason Riem received a Certificate of Completion in Petroleum Engineering for Non Engineers from The University of Tulsa in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma from 1995 to 1999. Jason also earned another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Oklahoma during the same time period.
