Matt Hinckley

DevOps Engineer at eLynx Technologies

Matt Hinckley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt began their career as a Salesperson at RadioShack in 1998 and worked there for four years. Matt then joined The Sound Station as a Manager and Systems Administrator, where they managed the computer network and handled sales and installation of home and car audio systems.

In 2003, Matt returned to RadioShack as a Manager, where they sold consumer electronics and services, managed inventory and payroll, and interviewed and hired employees. After two years, they transitioned to IT/Sales at Lost Boy's Wireless, where they created and maintained the company website, implemented a network system, and managed inventory ordering.

Matt's next role was at Diversified Systems Resources, where they held multiple positions. As a Support Technician, they troubleshooted network and VPN issues and responded to equipment failures and internet outages. Later, they became a Web Developer and contributed to the development and maintenance of web applications. Matt also installed and maintained Linux operating systems and improved customer service efficiency through the creation of a PHP/MySQL website.

Within the same company, Matt was rapidly promoted to the position of Network/Systems Administrator. In this role, they managed a workgroup of over 300 users and was responsible for developing, installing, and maintaining software systems and virtual cloud processes. Matt held this position for over nine years before joining eLynx Technologies as a DevOps Engineer in 2018, where they currently work.

Matt Hinckley earned an Associates degree in Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute from 2006 to 2008. Matt subsequently pursued a Bachelors degree in Information Systems Security from the same institution, completing it from 2006 to 2010.
