Jim Gray, MBA, SCPM, PMP has over 30 years of experience in the field of project management. Jim began their career in 1989 as a Project Plans Analyst at Lockheed Martin, Denver Engineering Laboratory. In this role, they managed several hardware and software development projects through their entire life-cycle, from charter to closure. Jim also provided Earned Value reports for all projects that met the government requirements.
In 1998, Jim became an Owner/Consultant at Logan Stewart, providing project management services for companies in a variety of industries, developing project methodologies, and training staff in those methodologies.
In 2011, they joined Boeing Commercial Airplanes as a Project Manager. Jim's duties included establishing requirements, creation and implementation of work breakdown structures, project plans and schedules, RFP's for suppliers, and implementation of the project from inception to completion. Jim also assessed risks, developed mitigation plans and developed collaborative relationships with Subject Matter Experts, suppliers and internal resources.
Most recently, in 2019, Jim joined ELYON International - Certified NMSDC, WBENC, VOSB, MBE, WOSB as a Senior Information Technology Program Manager.
Jim Gray holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Notre Dame de Namur University, obtained between 1980 and 1982. Jim then obtained a Master of Business Administration from Webster University between 1991 and 1993, specializing in Computer Resource and Information Management. In 2013 and 2014, they obtained a Master's Certificate from Stanford University in Project Management, as well as Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM) certification. Jim also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute and a Certified Telecommunication Network Specialist (CTNS) certification from the Telecommunications Certification Organization (TCO).
