Paul Muller

Paul Muller has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Paul began their career in 1999 as a Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer at Xemics SA. Paul then worked as a Research Assistant at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne from 2002 to 2006, focusing on advanced CMOS fiber-optic receivers. Following that, they joined Marvell Semiconductor as a Senior Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer, where they contributed to the design of analog baseband circuits and data converters for wireless transceivers.

In 2010, Paul joined MediaTek as a Senior Technical Manager and later a Senior Staff RFIC Design Engineer. During their time at MediaTek, they led the transmit path design team for Mediatek's first LTE-A R11 transceiver. In 2017, they joined MEAD Education SA as a Lecturer.

Paul also has experience with the RAIN RFID Alliance, where they served as a Board Member and Chair of the Smart Products Workgroup. In their most recent role, they are Vice President of Development at EM Microelectronic, overseeing the RFID Business Unit, including strategy, product management, and business development.

Paul Muller earned a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1994 to 1999. Paul obtained a Dr. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution from 2002 to 2006. Paul also holds a Diplôme de fin d'études secondaires in Mathematics and Physics from Athénée de Luxembourg, which they completed from 1987 to 1994. In terms of additional certifications, Paul Muller obtained a Semiconductor Automotive Functional Safety Professional certification from SGS-TÜV Saar in July 2023. Paul has also pursued professional development programs in areas such as Business Administration and Management as well as Organizational Leadership.
