Alysia Desimone

Alysia DeSimone is an experienced energy engineer and project coordinator currently working at Resource Innovations since January 2022. Prior to this role, Alysia held positions at Argonne National Laboratory as a Science and Technology Partnerships and Outreach Research Aide and conducted research as a Graduate Environmental Engineering Researcher at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Alysia's extensive involvement in various organizations includes membership in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Engineers Without Borders, and serving as a Vice President of the American Chemical Society at IIT. Alysia has also contributed as a junior student ambassador, telecounselor, and supplemental instructor, while gaining practical experience as a chemical engineering intern at Versum Materials and a fellow with Sage Corps. Alysia holds a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
