Melissa Yu

Melissa Yu has over 15 years of work experience in the field of business intelligence. Melissa began their career in 2004 as a Consultant for Core Solutions. Melissa then moved to Websense as a Sr. CRM Admin in 2005, followed by a Business Intelligence Analyst role at Goal Financial in 2006. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Blackbaud in various roles including Lead BI Analyst IV, Business Applications Analyst II, and Business Applications Analyst. Melissa then joined BlueGranite as a Solutions Consultant in 2014 before taking a Business Intelligence Analyst role at Shawmut Design and Construction in 2016. In 2018, they held roles as a Sr. BI Analyst at Coldwater Creek and a Principal BI Developer at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Melissa was then Business Intelligence Lead at Microdesk in 2020, and is currently a Senior BI Engineer at Embark Veterinary.

Melissa Yu obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Northeastern University in 2000, majoring in MIS/Marketing. In July 2015, they obtained the Tableau Desktop 9 Qualified Associate certification.
