Abualmaty Shaarawy has extensive experience in international tourism and destination marketing, currently serving as the Head of International Tourism and Destination Marketing at the Egyptian Tourism Authority, Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, since July 2000. Responsibilities include marketing, branding, and positioning of various tourism products, including rural tourism, golf, diving, and cultural tourism, along with developing promotional strategies and managing B2B and B2C activities. Previously, Abualmaty held the position of Tourism Counselor and Regional Director at the Embassy of Egypt in China from September 2012 to January 2019. Abualmaty is pursuing a Master of Science in Tourism and Travel Services Management at Beijing International Studies University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hotels Management from Suez Canal University.
