Katey Roberts

Katey Roberts is a Senior Geologist at Ember Resources Inc. since June 2017, specializing in shallow gas and coal bed methane, where responsibilities include optimizing over 5,000 wells and planning new drill wells. Previously, Katey served as a Production Geologist-In-Training at Shell from February 2013 to April 2016, contributing to field development planning for the Carmon Creek heavy oil field and managing reservoir characterization. Academic credentials include a Master of Science degree in Geology obtained from Memorial University, where Katey focused on palynology and environmental geology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution. Early experience includes roles as a Geosciences Summer Student at BP and the Yukon Geological Survey, and a Summer Intern at Moosehead Breweries.
