Timothy Green Jr has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Timothy began their career at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center as a Staff II / Charge Registered Nurse from July 2016 to August 2019. Following this, they joined EmblemHealth as a Care Manager in Medical Management Operations from August 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they provided Utilization Management review of concurrent cases for Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial, and served as a liaison for Stony Brook University Concurrent utilization review. From December 2021 to March 2023, Timothy worked as a Clinical Project Specialist at EmblemHealth, managing small project implementations and collaborating with large project implementations for EMR improvement. Timothy also acted as a liaison between IT and the Utilization Management / Clinical Operations team. Currently, Timothy is employed as the G&A Clinical Project & Quality Lead at EmblemHealth, a role they started in March 2023. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing the quality and accuracy of clinical appeals functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation mandates, and managing the clinical appeal quality monitoring program.

Timothy Green Jr completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Rhode Island from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Capital Community College. Additionally, they obtained a certification in MCG Certification from MCG Health in the year 2021.
