Emma Demers

User Experience Designer at Emburse

Emma Demers has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience and design. Emma started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Dartmouth Computer Science Department in 2019 and later joined DALI Lab as a UI/UX Designer. At DALI Lab, they also served as a UI/UX Design Mentor and Core Lead for several months. In 2020, Emma worked as a Content Designer at Quantic School of Business and Technology and as a Literacy Tutor at The Literacy Lab.

In the same year, they joined ByDesign as a UX/UI Designer and TechChange as an Education Design Research Fellow. In 2021, Emma worked at TechChange as a UX/UI Designer and also served as a UX/UI Designer at Emburse in 2022. Emma also worked as a UX/UI Designer at TechChange for a brief period in 2022.

Additionally, Emma has experience as a UX/UI Design Mentor at Designlab, where they mentored students in Foundations and Short Courses. Lastly, they were a VISTA Member - Community Liaison and Corps Member - Literacy Volunteer at AmeriCorps.

Emma Demers attended Groton Dunstable Regional High School from 2012 to 2016, where they did not earn a specific degree or study a particular field. Following their high school education, Emma enrolled at Dartmouth College in 2016 and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing.
