Yvonne Whelan

Yvonne Whelan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in digital signal processing and firmware development. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer in R&D at EMCORE Corporation since August 2022, Yvonne has previously held prominent positions including Senior DSP Engineer at KVH Industries, Inc. and Senior Firmware & DSP Engineer at CalAmp / LoJack. Yvonne's career began at NMS Communications as a Senior DSP Engineer and included a role as a DSP Engineer at Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products. Yvonne holds a Master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an Ingénieur Civil Électricien et Mécanicien degree from Université libre de Bruxelles.
