Irina Kalatskaya

Irina Kalatskaya is an experienced bioinformatician with a strong background in processing and analyzing gene expression datasets from clinical trials, particularly in Multiple Sclerosis and autoimmune diseases, while currently serving as an Associate Scientific Director at EMD Serono, Inc. since November 2017. Prior to this role, Irina held various positions including Principal Scientist and Project Manager at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, where management of significant research projects and development of bioinformatics pipelines for genomic analysis were key responsibilities. Irina began a postdoctoral fellowship in bioinformatics focused on network-based analyses of cancer datasets and previously explored chemokine receptor interactions as a postdoctoral fellow in molecular biology at Université De Montréal. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biochemistry from the Technical University of Munich and an MS in Radiobiology and Radiation Medicine from Sakharov International Environmental University.
