Mark Zhang

Mark Zhang is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in program and project management, particularly in oncology. From July 2019 to December 2023, Mark served as Senior Director and Head of Global Program Management Oncology II at EMD Serono, Inc., and previously led the Avelumab Program in a similar capacity. Mark's career includes significant roles at Merck Healthcare, where responsibilities spanned from Head of Strategy and Business Operations for China R&D to Deputy Head of China R&D. At Bayer HealthCare, positions included Associate Director of Global Development Asia Portfolio Operations among others. Earlier experience at GSK involved various roles in global clinical operations. Mark holds dual MBAs from BiMBA at Peking University and Vlerick Business School, both completed in January 2018.
