Bruno Lange has worked in the software engineering field since 2011. From 2011-2017 they worked as a Software Engineer at CERN, where they created Fence, a Web framework developed for ATLAS and adopted by the ALICE, LHCb and CMS experiments. Bruno also led a team of 10 developers in migrating 9 Web systems to the Fence framework, and proposed and implemented a novel design pattern that yielded a base code reduction of 39%. From 2017-2019 they worked as a Software Engineer at LMI Technologies. From 2019-2021 they worked as a Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineer at MetaOptima Technology Inc. Bruno currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at StreetLight Data since 2021.
Bruno Lange has a B.Sc in Control and Automation Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, which they obtained between 2007 and 2013. Bruno also spent a year at the University of Central Florida, where they obtained a B.Sc in Engineering in 2010-2011. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "The Introduction to Quantum Computing" in April 2020, "How Google does Machine Learning" in August 2018, "Data Structures and Performance" in April 2016, and "Object Oriented Programming in Java" in February 2016.
