Purpose Of This Role:

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the organization's
catalog of reports, data warehouse, and analytics cubes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

● Modify existing reports and create new reports to specification
● Maintain and modify ETL code and EDW
● Maintain existing and create new OLAP cubes
● Test reports, correct errors and make necessary modifications
● Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information against accidental or
unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure
● Participate in all aspects of the Agile SDLC
● Work as part of the Business Intelligence team to coordinate reporting projects and determine
project scope and limitations
● Create and maintain a development environment on a PC
● Develop documentation on as requested basis
● Identify and evaluate industry trends in Business Intelligence to serve as a source of information
and advice for management
● Serve as an expert on business intelligence products and provide technical support

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
● Expert level skills with the following tools: Microsoft SSIS/SSAS/SSRS/Visual Studio (source code
control, branching/merging)
● Advanced Knowledge of SQL Development and Tuning skills
● Advanced knowledge of database design
● Experience with dimensional and relational modeling
● Applied knowledge of Microsoft Security/Authentication Concepts (Active Directory, IIS, Windows
OS)
● Data Warehouse ETL (dimensions and facts) development experience using SSIS
● OLAP cube development experience using SSAS
● Working knowledge of Healthcare EDI transactions
● Ability to learn MRA operation’s processes and how they interact
● Must have a high level of attention to detail and be skilled in organizing and prioritizing work
● Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal
direction
● Working knowledge of or ability to learn Team Foundation Services
● Ability to produce accurate work while maintaining attention to detail
● Skilled in organizing and setting priorities according to situational demands
● Flexibility to work after hours as needed to support applications and systems
● Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and writing skills

Education and Experience Requirements


● High School diploma or equivalent required
● 3-5 years business intelligence experience required
● At least 3 years of SQL experience required
● Two year (2) degree or equivalent certificate in IT field preferred
● 1-2 years of Healthcare experience preferred

● None
Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Required
● General office working conditions; sitting and using a computer and a telephone for long periods
of time
● Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
● Percentage of travel: negligible
