Kara S. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management, advisory roles, and leadership. Currently serving on the Board of Advisors at University Startups, as a member of the Advisory Council for Soar.com, and as a mentor for Techstars' Economic Mobility Cohort, Kara is heavily involved in initiatives focused on innovation and economic empowerment. As Chief Product Officer and Advisor at Springboard, Kara contributes to bridging the skills gap through online education. Additionally, Kara holds a Venture Partner position at Emerge Education, serves as a Senior Advisor for The Leapfrog Group, and is a founding member of Chief, a network aimed at supporting women leaders. Previous experience includes pivotal roles at Knowledge to Practice and 2U, as well as a significant tenure as Head of Product Management at Gallup, where numerous awards were received for outstanding performance. Kara holds an MBA in Leadership & Strategy from the University of Maryland and a BBA in Marketing from Roanoke College.
