Leslie Hernandez

Leslie Hernandez is a Program Manager at EMERGE since August 2022, previously serving as a Financial Aid College Advisor at the Houston Independent School District from February to July 2022. Leslie's experience includes work as a Climate and Redistricting Organizer and a Census Organizer & GOTV Training Specialist at Jolt Action and Jolt Initiative from August 2019 to July 2021, where programming and community outreach events were created to engage Latinx neighborhoods in Houston regarding the 2020 census. Prior experience includes an internship and mentorship coordination at The Law Office of Patrick Gendron and a role as Event Supervisor at Texas A&M University. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Texas A&M University.
