Dean Hale has over 30 years of professional experience in various industries. Dean began their career in 1983 as an Airborne Chinese Cryptologic Lingquist in the United States Air Force, for which they were awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal and four air medals. In 1991 they joined Emergency Essentials\u00ae as a Controller, overseeing Federal, state, payroll, sales, and property tax compliance, cost accounting standards and tracking, and accounting and control policies. In 1994 they were promoted to Director of Finance at Excel Entertainment Group, Inc., where they lead negotiations, execution, and administration of acquisition and distribution contracts. In 2001 they were promoted to Vice President of Distribution, launching a new company distribution division that more than doubled the company\u2019s revenue in two years. In 2005 they joined Vineyard Distribution, LLC as Director of Distribution, recruiting and orchestrating a multi-market release of branded entertainment and negotiating more than $2 million dollars in third-party contracts. In 2006 they founded Somerset Films, LLC. From 2009 to 2013 they worked as a Freelance Consultant. In 2011 they joined Emergency Essentials\u00ae as Director of Retail Operations, Data Analyst, Customer Acquisition and Database Manager, and Director of Marketing. In 2013 they joined the American Diabetes Association - Utah as a Member of the Board of Directors.
Dean Hale attended Brigham Young University from 1988 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Related Services, followed by a Master of Accountancy in Taxation in 1990.
