Duncan McCloskey

Duncan McCloskey, PhD, serves as the Senior Manager of Medical Communications at Emergent BioSolutions since June 2023. Previously, Duncan held the position of Scientific Communications Manager at AlphaGroup Medical Communications, where responsibilities included establishing relationships with stakeholders and developing scientific content in compliance with GPP/ICMJE principles. Duncan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, contributing to eight peer-reviewed publications and presenting research at various conferences. Earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell University and Clinical Immersion Fellow at Weill Cornell Medicine. Duncan began academic studies with a Bachelor of Science in Nanoscale Engineering from the University at Albany.
