Gideon Akintunde

Gideon Akintunde has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Gideon began their career in 2010 as a Medical Officer at Lagoon Hospitals. Gideon then worked as a Staff Physician at the Department of Defense - Walter Reed Program from 2009 to 2012. In 2011, they became a Medical Officer at the Clinical Training and Research Centre, 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital. From 2013 to 2015, Gideon served as a Medical Officer and Study Coordinator at the Defense Headquarters Medical Center in Abuja, Nigeria. Gideon then worked as a Clinical Research Physician at Henry Jackson Foundation Medical Research Int'l Ltd/Gte from 2015 to 2016. Gideon was later promoted to Deputy Director of Research at the same company from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Gideon is the Director of Clinical Development at Emergent BioSolutions.

Gideon Akintunde holds a Master's degree in Clinical Research Administration from Walden University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Ilorin, attending from 1999 to 2006. Gideon completed their secondary education at Olashore International School from 1994 to 1999, obtaining the WAEC certification. Additionally, Gideon has obtained certifications in "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals" from LinkedIn and "Project Management" from Duke University.
