Jessie Attariwala has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Jessie started their career as a Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, where they worked for seven years. Jessie then transitioned to Children's Memorial Hospital as a Laboratory and Clinical Research Associate. After that, Jessie joined Mediatech, a subsidiary of Corning Life Sciences, as a Biotechnology Sales Representative, where they focused on account development and introducing product lines to laboratory managers and investigators. In 2012, they joined Merrill Corporation as a Regional Director, DataSite - Life Science, where they initiated a new business vertical and developed strategic relationships with industry executives. From 2015 to 2018, Jessie worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at Singota Solutions, providing contract services to the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, they hold the position of Sr. Manager, CMO Business Development at Emergent BioSolutions, where they oversee contract manufacturing services for bulk drug substances and sterile injectable drug products.
Jessie Attariwala completed their education in a chronological manner. They first attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management from National Louis University. Lastly, Jessie attended the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago until 2014, focusing on Project Management.
