Jim Suchy

Jim Suchy has over 28 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jim currently serves as the Senior Director Quality at Emergent BioSolutions, leading the Quality Unit at the Lansing, MI facility. Jim is responsible for managing nearly 100 individuals and ensuring their personal and professional growth. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Quality Control at Emergent BioSolutions, overseeing the Quality Control Group and managing a team of over 50 scientists.

Before joining Emergent BioSolutions, Jim held various leadership positions at Cambrex and Avista Pharma Solutions. At Cambrex, they served as the Director of Quality Control, leading the cGMP Quality Control Laboratory and ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations. At Avista Pharma Solutions, they also served as the Director of Quality Control.

Jim's earlier work experience includes managerial roles at Sandoz, Bend Research, Roche Carolina, Inc., Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and Warner Lambert. Throughout their career, they have been involved in the development and validation of analytical methodologies, overseeing laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Jim Suchy has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
