Josh Reece has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and research field. Josh currently holds the position of Vice President, Business Planning at Emergent BioSolutions, where they have been since 2012. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President, PMO & Chief of Staff - Vaccines Business Unit from 2020 to 2021. Before joining Emergent BioSolutions, they worked in various roles at SoBran, Inc. as a Program Manager in the Biomedical Services Division - Government Contracts from 2010 to 2012, and at Osiris Therapeutics, Inc. as a Program Manager, Product Development & Investor Relations Lead from 2008 to 2010. In addition, Mr. Reece has prior experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at USDA-ARS from 2007 to 2008, a Research Specialist at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) from 2000 to 2002, and a Clinical Research Coordinator/Medical Research Technician at Tulane Medical Center from 1993 to 1997. Josh Reece has a diverse education history. Josh obtained a PhD in Molecular Microbiology & Immunology from The Johns Hopkins University from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed an MSPH in Parasitology at Tulane University from 1997 to 1998. Josh began their education journey by earning a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Loyola University New Orleans, which they completed from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their degrees, Josh Reece has also obtained multiple certifications, including Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, Certified Manager, Certified Manager of Animal Resources, and Laboratory Animal Technologist.
