Monica Fuentes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Immigration – Strategy & Policy at Emerson Collective since December 2018. Previously, Monica held significant roles at Welcoming America, contributing to the organization's national recognition during a period of growth as Director of Policy and Strategic Partnerships and Washington, DC Office Director. Monica's background also includes serving as Chief Service Officer for the City of Atlanta, where efforts focused on social welfare policy, and positions with the Democratic National Committee and Obama for America, emphasizing political organization and voter protection. Diverse legal experience includes roles at the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and internships in the U.S. Senate.
