Marien Sequera

Marien Sequera has over eight years of work experience in the design and development field. In 2013, they began their career as an Assistant on the E-learning department at the Universidad de Carabobo, where they were responsible for producing and editing voice-over manuals, audio samples, and video tutorials for courses. Marien also created and administered courses and resources on Moodle and developed interactive menus to access courses. In 2018, they joined NNIDO as a UX Designer and Allianz Argentina as a User Experience Designer, where they were responsible for redesigning the mobile application and investigating and identifying issues through stakeholder discussions and insurance user research. In 2019, they joined Globant as a User Experience Designer, where they were responsible for leading design processes from discovery, MVP definition, and implementation for different projects. In 2020, they joined Veritran as a Product Designer, where they were responsible for leading and defining design strategy for visual construction team and planning and executing user research strategies. In 2021, they joined Grupo Simpli as a Design Lead - Digital Experience and Senior Product Designer, where they were responsible for leading a multidisciplinary product team for different projects and crafting the characteristics and structure for a Mobility Platform. Finally, in 2022, they joined Emi Labs as a Senior Product Designer.

Marien Sequera obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidad de Carabobo between 2009 and 2017. In 2020, they obtained an EF SET English Certificate 72/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET). In 2018, they obtained a certification in Diseño de Interfaces y UX from Platzi. In 2017, they obtained a Curso profesional de Git y GitHub certification from Platzi. In 2016, they obtained a CCNA Routing & Switching: Introduction to Networks certification from Cisco Networking Academy. In 2015, they obtained a Desarrollo de Videojuegos en HTML5 certification from ESCUELA WEB, LLC.
