Karolos T. currently serves as the Chief Portfolio & Strategy Officer at Emirates Growth Fund (EGF) since July 2025. Prior to this role, Karolos held positions as an Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at ADNOC Group and as an Advisor to the Board at Emirates Development Bank (EDB) from April 2021 to July 2025. Previous experience includes over a decade at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as Partner, Principal, Project Leader, and Consultant, specializing in financial services, private equity, and sovereign wealth funds. Early career roles involved investment banking at Deutsche Bank, focusing on M&A and capital markets in the Greek market, as well as a position as an investment banking analyst at Rothschild. Karolos also served in the Army Ordnance Corps, managing financial resources. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Finance & Economics from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting from Athens University of Economics and Business.
