Mary Ruth Bongon

Mary Ruth Bongon is an experienced Application Engineer at Emlid since August 2023. Previously, Mary Ruth served as a Geospatial Quality Assurance Engineer at Propeller Aero, where responsibilities included managing data engineering bug reports, conducting manual regression and exploratory testing of GIS software, and processing photogrammetric data. As a GIS Specialist at Propeller Aero, focus was on processing photogrammetric data into geospatial products and providing support to the global customer success team on GIS-related issues. Prior experience includes working as a Project Engineer at RASA Surveying, where duties involved establishing the GNSS Control Network and processing survey data for project analysis. Early career experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Ateneo de Naga University. Mary Ruth holds a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Eötvös Loránd University and a BSc in Geodetic Engineering from Bicol University.
