Amber Churchwell is an experienced academic and researcher in sociology, currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Guest Lecturer at Emory University since August 2020. Amber has independently taught the Introduction to Sociology course and contributed to curriculum development, while also providing support for courses such as Aging in Society. Previous roles include Program Assistant for Comparative Health Systems and Accommodated Testing Exam Proctor, promoting accessibility for students. Amber's earlier experience includes serving as a Sociology Department Research Assistant at Colby College, where mentorship under Dr. Neil Gross and project management were key responsibilities.
