Azi Rad

Azi Rad is a multidisciplinary Graphic Designer and Art Director who views design as an art practice. As such, she strives to work within the delicate balance of playful experimentation and intention. Her process-oriented approach allows her and the teams she leads to establish a creative vision and ground that vision in strategic and conceptual thought. Azi sees learning as perennial, loves teams who challenge her way of seeing, gathers inspiration from her surroundings, and cares deeply about making design inclusive to all. Her work, mentorship, and partnership reflect her empathetic ethos, humble yet passionate spirit, and boldly refined craft.

Intrinsically interested in the spaces where the fine arts and design mingle, Azi’s work spans publishing, design agencies, global corporations, and personal design practice. She’s grown her wisdom from decades working with a diverse array of artists, designers, cultural institutions, start-ups, and large enterprises. Before joining Emotive Brand, Azi was Creative Director at elbow where she helped redefine and redesign the eBay brand. Outside of her day job, she’s dedicated to her volunteer work and her two young daughters.
