Founder and CEO at Empathic Clinical Software

Debra Lindell has extensive experience in the behavioral health field. In 1996, they became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Owner at Artesian Spring Counseling. In 1999, they founded and became President of Seed Of Hope, Funding for Professional Counseling, a 501c3 that provided professional counseling to individuals and families in need. In 2007, they founded and became CEO of Empathic Clinical Software, Behavioral Health. Debra envisioned, designed and established an LLC around a new application for clinical practice assisted by smart, elegant technology. Debra established an RFI, negotiated, and executed multiple contracts, designed and deployed the concept of semantic processing as an integral part of the Empathic Software architecture, and applied for patent protection on Clinical/business process flow and Application of Q & A on clinical intelligence for medical records. In 2009, they operationalized and rolled out the software, moving public awareness from zero to national recognition in 10 months. Universities now use Empathic to train graduate students the process of clinical notes and diagnostics.

Debra Lindell received their Masters in Psychology from Bethel University between 1994 and 1996. Debra also earned their Bachelors Degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Minnesota between 1983 and 1986.
