Eric Kung

Eric Kung has a diverse work experience in the field of data analysis and engineering. Eric is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at Emperor Financial Services Group since December 2022. Prior to this, they were a Data Analyst at KaiOS Technologies, Inc. from August 2020 to April 2022.

Before their role at KaiOS Technologies, Inc., Eric worked at BOC Credit Card (International) Limited as a Senior Data Analyst from July 2019 to August 2020, and as a Data Analyst from November 2016 to July 2019. Eric also had a short-term role as a Credit Card Assistant - Acquiring at Shanghai Commercial Bank HK from January 2016 to March 2016.

Eric's work experience also includes an internship at TransUnion from June 2015 to August 2015, where they gained foundational skills in the field.

Eric Kung obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis from City University of Hong Kong, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they participated in an Exchange Programme at Goethe University Frankfurt, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications including "Set Up and Configure a Cloud Environment in Google Cloud" and "Create and Manage Cloud Resources" from Google Cloud Skills Boost in 2021. In the same year, they completed courses such as "Introduction to Airflow in Python," "Introduction to PySpark," and "Introduction to Scala" through DataCamp. In 2020, Eric obtained the "Intermediate Python" certification from DataCamp. Prior to that, in 2019, they received the "Agile® Project Management Foundation" certification from Dun & Bradstreet. Eric's earliest certifications include the "SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9" in 2015 and the "SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9" in 2015, both from SAS.
