Piotr Orlowski

Piotr Orlowski has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development. Piotr is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Empik Group since January 2022. Prior to that, they held various managerial roles at Allegro from 2012 to 2022, including Software Development Manager, Development Team Manager, and Developers Team Leader. From 2009 to 2012, Piotr worked as the Head of Software Development at E-COMMERCE SERVICES Sp. z o.o., and also served as a Software Development Consultant. Piotr started their career at Merlin.pl S.A. as a Senior J2EE Developer and later became the Java/J2EE Team Leader from 2004 to 2009. In 1999, Piotr worked as a J2EE Developer at Agora SA for a period of five years.

Piotr Orlowski pursued their education at The College of Computer Science, Lodz. From 1998 to 2001, they completed their undergraduate studies and obtained a degree in IT in business. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, Piotr pursued further studies in software engineering and earned a master's degree from the same institution. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the certification of Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in May 2012.
