Dominic Utton

Dominic Utton is a self-employed freelance writer, journalist, and author with experience in true crime and investigative journalism. Dominic has written acclaimed podcasts such as Epstein: Devil in the Darkness, The Killing of Marilyn Monroe, and The Firm: Blood, Lies and Royal Succession. Dominic has also written and edited features and commentaries for various newspapers and magazines in the UK and USA. In addition, they have published a novel titled Dead End Close. Dominic has worked as a Chief Writer and Development Officer at Empire Media Group since June 2020 and will be a writer for the fifth series of the "Buried in the Backyard" in 2023. Dominic previously worked as a writer and editorial consultant at American Media, contributing to TV documentaries and true crime podcast series. Dominic also had editorial roles at the Daily Telegraph, Fabulous magazine, and Jam magazine.

Dominic Utton attended Oriel College, Oxford from 1990 to 1992.
