Roman Matějka

Roman Matějka has extensive work experience in the legal field. Roman is currently the Vice President Legal, Product & Commercial at Emplifi since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Legal Department at Emplifi from August 2019 to February 2023. Before joining Emplifi, Roman worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at Socialbakers from December 2017 to July 2019. Roman also gained experience as a Legal Counsel at Howden from January 2017 to November 2017, where they provided general legal advice and support to various business units. Roman previously worked as a Legal Counsel and Associate Legal Counsel at AVG Technologies from July 2014 to October 2016. Roman started their career as an In-House Lawyer at SAS from October 2010 to June 2014 and as a Legal Assistant at Havel, Holasek & Partners s.r.o. from March 2008 to May 2010.

Roman Matějka attended Charles University from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Law. Prior to that, they completed their general eight-year studies at the High School of V.B.Třebízský in Slaný, from 1995 to 2003. Additionally, in October 2023, they obtained a certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
