Mary Lynn Newman

Mary Lynn Newman has worked in various legal roles throughout their career. Mary Lynn began their career as a Judicial Law Clerk for Hon. Brent T. Adams from September 1991 to August 1992. Mary Lynn then worked as an Associate at Jones, Jones, Close & Brown from 1992 to 1994. In 1994, they worked as a Member at Dordick, Hopkins & Canmann for a short period of time. Mary Lynn then joined Hartman & Armstrong as an Associate from September 1994 to January 1996, where they gained experience in creditors' rights litigation and appellate work. Mary Lynn continued their legal career as an Assistant General Counsel at Nevada State Industrial Insurance System from January 1996 to January 1998. Mary Lynn then joined CNO Financial Group as an Assistant General Counsel from 1998 to 2001, where they served as Chief Legal Officer of the variable life and annuities division and Assistant Secretary of coordinating subsidiaries. Since November 2003, they have been working at EMPLOYERS as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel.

Mary Lynn Newman attended the University of Michigan from 1982 to 1986, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at the University of Colorado from 1988 to 1991.
