Dj Thakkar

DJ Thakkar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

DJ began their career at Accenture as a Technical Analyst, working from June 2000 to November 2002.

DJ then moved to Telution (acquired by CSG International) as an Implementation Consultant, managing ERP software implementations for telecommunications clients from May 2003 to April 2005.

From April 2005 to October 2007, DJ worked at LexisNexis as a Senior Implementation Consultant, leading CRM implementation projects and conducting data conversion projects using SQL.

At Slalom Consulting, DJ served as a Management Consultant, from October 2007 to May 2009. DJ worked as a Project Manager and Lead Business Analyst for custom data warehouse systems and acted as a product owner for a custom application.

From May 2009 to August 2012, DJ worked at The Nielsen Company as a Senior Product Manager, overseeing the launch of a new product platform for CPG clients and serving as a single point of contact for clients.

After that, DJ joined Networked Insights as a Director of Product Management, responsible for launching the company's first-ever SaaS product offering and turning the business model towards a product focus. DJ worked there from August 2012 to April 2014.

From April 2014 to July 2017, DJ joined Paylocity as a Product Team Leader, leading the engineering and product team that launched a brand new product offering to the market. DJ then moved on to become the Director of Product & Technology at Paylocity from October 2014 to July 2017, leading engineering and product functions across multiple agile teams.

Following their time at Paylocity, DJ joined LiveRamp as a Senior Director of Product Management from April 2022 to August 2022.

Currently, DJ Thakkar serves as the Director of Product Management at Lever, starting from November 2022.

DJ Thakkar earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. DJ later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Purdue University Krannert School of Management, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in December 2014.
