Cheri Merritt

Cheri Merritt is an experienced organizational development manager currently with Empower Health Group since January 2024, focusing on organizational assessments, strategy implementation, change management, and employee training. Prior to this, Cheri worked as a self-employed human resources consultant for Empower Health Group from September to December 2023, providing similar expertise. From February 2006 to September 2023, Cheri served in various roles at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, culminating as the Senior Director of People and Culture, where responsibilities included guiding people operations strategy and providing strategic HR support. Earlier experience includes managing safety and risk programs, as well as financial analysis and property management at Prism Property Management. Cheri holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Computer Information Systems from Appalachian State University.
